The veterinarian's advice: dressing your pet's wounds with Bio RIGENERA® Pet
23 July 2026
Cleanse and disinfect the wound, preferably with Tea tree oil or quaternary ammonium compounds (Bialcol). Apply a 3-4 mm layer of Bio RIGENERA® and spread it evenly over the exposed surface, using a wooden tongue depressor to avoid wasting product, and cover with 3-4 layers of breathable sterile gauze.
Dressings: 1-2 times a day, depending on how the wound reacts, always keeping it in a moist environment thanks to the lipogel. At the next dressing, do not remove the fibrin that has formed on the wound.
Should there be a severe ulceration with loss of substance, consult the veterinarian to prescribe collagen (Condress or Connettivina), adding a further layer of Bio RIGENERA® on top and closing the wound again with breathable gauze, never smothering it.
Should the lesion be located on one of the paws, it will be useful to use an elastic net to hold the dressing in place.
Note: non-toxic in case of accidental ingestion by the animal, as it is natural.
