From the ProRigenera® molecule comes a phytotherapeutic product for pets, plant-based, with gardenia plant stem cells and essential oils of medicinal plants. The phytocomplex - in particular St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) and grapefruit seed - ensures fast regeneration of the epithelial tissue with a natural antibacterial and antiseptic action, acting as a local disinfectant against fungi, bacteria and parasites. A regenerating and cicatrizing gel, non-toxic if accidentally ingested.

Indications

Topical gel for skin wounds and burns
Stimulates the repair of the animal's skin in all external lesions, promoting reepithelization of the lesion to healing
Indicated after surgery and for ulcerative pressure sores, also in diabetic animals, skin irritations, psoriasis, dermatitis and manifestations involving redness and abrasions
Insect bites or itching, skin grazes, interdigital sores, lick sores, ulcerations, pyoderma
Non-toxic if ingested: can be applied to traumatic lesions of the oral cavity, ulcerative mucosal lesions (mouth, gums, anus) and in the ear canal

Properties

A protective and cicatrizing gel with plant stem cells and essential oils. By associating the various active ingredients in the essential oils with antiseptic and regenerative components, and the cytoprotective activity of gardenia stem cells, a powerful cicatrizing action is performed, important in promoting the healthy healing of wounds while limiting the risk of bacterial infections. Topical use optimises on-site activity, reducing systemic side effects.

Phytotherapy

The properties of grapefruit seeds and St. John's wort have an antibacterial and antiseptic action and contribute to a fast and correct regeneration of the epithelial tissue.

Directions for use

Cleanse the wound, apply the product to the affected area after disinfecting and cleaning it, twice a day until the wound is completely healed.

The veterinarian recommends

Cleanse and disinfect the wound, possibly with Tea tree oil or quaternary ammonium compounds (Bialcol). Apply a 3-4 mm layer of Bio RIGENERA® and spread it evenly over the exposed surface, using a wooden tongue depressor to avoid wasting product, then cover with 3-4 layers of breathable sterile gauze. Dressings 1-2 times a day depending on how the wound reacts, always keeping it in a moist environment thanks to the lipogel. At the next dressing, do not remove the fibrin formed on the wound. Should there be severe ulceration with loss of substance, consult the veterinarian to prescribe collagen (Condress or Connettivina), adding another layer of Bio RIGENERA® on top and closing the wound with breathable gauze, never suffocating it. If the lesion is on one of the paws, an elastic net is useful to hold the dressing in place. Note: non-toxic if accidentally ingested by the animal, as it is natural.

Storage

Store between 5 °C and 24 °C, away from light. The expiry date refers to the product intact and correctly stored in a dry place. It is recommended to use the product within 12 months of opening. Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.

I tried this product on the ulcer on my dog's paw, which was made worse by his licking the wound. I must say it amazed me - it healed very quickly. Fortunately, even though he sometimes licked the wound, being 100% natural the accidental ingestion caused no problems. I recommend it. Well-packaged, received within 48 hours of ordering.
